Albergue La Calabaza del Peregrino

Twelve kilometres from the cathedral, in a rehabilitated old stone house at O Faramello, La Calabaza del Peregrino is the last pilgrim stop before Santiago on the Portuguese Way. There is something tender about this final night — close enough to feel the pull of the city, far enough for one more evening of the road’s unhurried rhythm.

Dinner and breakfast are served, the garden invites a last slow afternoon, and reservations are accepted — which matters on this busy final stretch. Open April through October.
